Today's Word is for the Prophets in Training! by Eloise Flanders
"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father." - John 14:12 (KJV)
As I came to the Lord on your behalf, I saw you as a warrior in training. You started off excited about the journey. You were passionate and determined. Everything seemed to be going well until your flesh got challenged.
Today the Lord says, "Dig deeper!" You may be asking yourself, “Am I where I should be? Is this from the Lord?" You feel uncomfortable and pressures are coming from every side. You find yourself wanting to quit. Face the challenge head-on.
Prophet, what you may not realize is the harder the training gets, the more capable you become. You're becoming a specialist in your field and more precise in the things of the spirit. Your spiritual muscles are being defined and you're growing in wisdom.
The Lord is saying to you today, "Tarry a while. I know you feel stretched. Yet, My hand is at work here. I've placed you where you are on purpose. I'm allowing the pressures to come and to strengthen you. So, stay focused on what I'm doing.
Have I not told you that all things will work out in your favor? Allow the pressures to shape you. I won't allow them to crush you, My child. Rather see that I'm forming a warrior in you. You're developing your gifts and gaining skills. You're becoming more capable with every challenge you face.
My child, you may not understand why I've placed you there. You may not know why you must go through the fire. But, I do. I know your end from your beginning and I'll complete the work I started with you.
With every season you face you're growing. You're increasing in knowledge to be more effective in your call. So, ensure the pressures that stand before you. As you become more capable I'll increase your territory and multiply your success."
