The Lord showed me a picture of baby birds in a nest. There is a time when the momma bird has to push them out of the nest, to try out their wings. However, their wings must be strong.
Perhaps you are trying to fly, but your wings have not yet matured. The Lord wants you to know that it’s okay to need Him. You don’t have to be strong, in the places you have not yet been built up. It is His job to build you up. He says to you,
“My child, I am never too busy for you. There is never a wrong time to knock on my door. If you don’t understand Me the first time, I will not condemn you for asking Me again.
Don’t be afraid, for I delight in being with you. Run to Me and know that I will give you the answer. When you look up to Me, it brings Me great joy to be your solution. For indeed, you often think that you have to be grown and come up with a plan. Rather, ask Me for the plan that I’ve already made for you.
Come into My presence and don’t be afraid to need Me. I will set your foot on solid ground and you will know that you are in my will. For when you are on the right road child, you are protected, you feel secure and the doors that you had to bash down yourself, I will open to you, like a gentleman.
For in My presence there is joy because I will take away the heavy weights that you carry. I will answer the hard questions that you have not wanted to face. In my presence, my child, is every word that you long to hear. You are loved. I am proud of you. You are amazing and unique. You are mighty in Me. From this place, there is nothing you cannot do,” says the Lord.
Personal Project:
You are insecure because you have not been built up by the Lord. It's time to be filled up by His strength. This means, you must first be weak and face the reality of your insecurities. Then let Him fill you up!
