Your Stretching Is An Answer To Your "More Lord"

By Chaifa Berry

Today's Prophetic Word is for everyone who has cried out to God for more power and anointing!

When you cry out for more power from God, watch out! His gifts, talents, and anointings come with responsibility. If God’s gifted you recently, followed by fire from heaven, this word is for you:

“My child, you’ve been a strong vessel for Me, and I’ve used you to bless My people. When you asked Me to increase your capacity to bring change, I answered. I called you higher.

Like clay, I must break you down, so I may build you up into a greater vessel. When I brought the increase, what did you expect would happen next, My child? To whom I give much, I require more.

To go higher, you will face new pressures. Each of these gifts comes with accountability. I will challenge your way of thinking and add to you more responsibility than in seasons past. And so I stretch you, so that you may become a vessel capable of more anointing.

Stay on the potter's wheel until My work in you is complete, My child. Be still in discomfort. It’s okay not to know what you are. I’m shaping you, and when I'm finished, you’ll be stronger and more confident in the gifts and anointings I’ve imparted to you.” Amen.

Personal Project: Identify Where God is Re-shaping You

  1. Identify impartations of spiritual gifts, talents, or mandate that you’ve recently received. (This could be directly from God, or from a person)

  2. Identify new roles/responsibilities or promotions you’ve received.

  3. Identify new pressures that have come upon you since these shifts. How do these pressures relate to your new-found talents and impartations?

“But someone who does not know, and then does something wrong, will be punished only lightly. When someone has been given much, much will be required in return; and when someone has been entrusted with much, even more, will be required.” - Luke 12:48
