They made themselves very scarce. No one shows their guilt quite like a kid who broke their mother’s favorite keepsake. The broken keepsake didn’t hurt. What hurt was that they didn’t knock me off my feet to say hello.

"My child, it's not Me who is far away. Guilt caused a gap between us. The enemy brought condemnation and you gave into it. I stand with my arms wide open waiting to welcome you in.
Push past the guilt of what you have done wrong and come meet me in the secret place once again. Allow me to be your refuge. I long to fellowship with you. Even in your mess, I'm still in control.
I have great plans to turn your mistakes around for My glory. So don't wait any longer. Don't fall prey to the enemy's whispers. Come to My throne of grace. It's there you will find the strength to overcome the enemy's deception.
My love will cover your flaws and I will give you the courage to face the next temptation that comes your way. I'm your anchor that will never stray too far away.
I'm a protective Father who protects. I'm a loving parent who forgives. You can rest in the fact that I will complete My work within you. My child, I won't leave you to the wolves. See that I'm standing there even now."
