Who are you? Never struggle knowing your identity again!

Unsure of your identity in Christ? This Prophetic Word is For You! by Chaifa Berry

The search for identity can be a messy one, but it doesn't have to be! It can be a journey of unveiling beauty when you let God take control.

It usually starts with collecting images that you like and trying to conform to what you desire. Sometimes we take one strength we have and make it our entire identity until God has to snatch it away so that you can see He created you with more depth than that one skill you lived on. However, the beginning of true discovery only begins with, "God, I don't know who I am. Teach me."

"My child, discovering your identity is a process that is up to Me, and I delight in showing you who you are. It is a treasure I reveal to you, and not a treasure produced by your own works. For what bride lifts her own veil? So, why do you strive to prove your beauty, when it is My job to do so?

But I am your bridegroom, and I will unveil your beauty for all to see. This is a journey that is filled with awe and wonder, where I prove to you that you are awesome and uniquely made. As I do My work, I break through the standards of the world, and I break through your own cravings of what you desire.

Yet, as you let go, you'll see that I have created circumstances around you to bring out the hidden treasures in you. So, instead of striving to fit the mold of idols, enjoy this season of unveiling and put every idea of your identity into the fire, to be burned away.

For the glory that I have put in you, cannot be compared with those on your left or right. You cannot be boxed in. Indeed, the more you try and box yourself to a standard, the longer the journey will be. Yet, if you would surrender to Me, every mold that has kept you veiled will quickly be shattered. Today, I cut off the bonds that have kept you bound, so that you can be free to be who I made you to be. Surrender this process to Me, give Me this load, and I will reveal your beauty, both to you and to the world." Amen.

1. Make a list of what makes you different from your:

- Family

- Friends

- Other believers

2. Praise God for each one of those differences. As you do, you'll begin to see what qualities were put there by God, to set you apart.
