CHARACTER SPECIFIC SYMBOL
POSITIVE
To dream of going back in time or having extra time left on the clock is positive. It means that you still have time to take advantage of the promise in front of you. Work hard and fight for that promise, because time will not wait for you.
You might also see a clock in a vision where the Lord is giving you a very specific time to do something. What is the time on the clock? Is the Lord indicating that something is going to happen at that time, or is He saying, “Time’s up!”
Is it dinner time or bedtime? If so, then the Lord is telling you that it is time to rest or it is time to fill up again! A watch cannot change time - it can only give you an accurate account of what timeframe you are in right now.
To see a watch being turned back means that the Lord wants you to go into your past and deal with something back there.
To receive a new watch means that the Lord just set you on a new course. You have a set amount of time to fulfill this purpose in your life. Do so with all joy, because the Lord will be there every step of the way!
NEGATIVE
For a clock to stop means that you have been put on hold right now. You need to determine if your stubbornness or sin has caused this “hold” or if the Lord is arranging circumstances and needs you to wait on Him for a bit.
To have a clock broken means that you are directionless. You are going in so many directions right now, that you are not reaching any of your goals!
Alarm clock going off? It is time to wake up spiritually. Your season of rest is over and you need to step out in faith now. You are not waiting for God – He is waiting for you to get moving!
Water
The force that brings about the washing in our lives.
Positive:

POSITIVE
Being washed with water speaks of being cleansed and of putting things behind you. It also speaks of being cleansed from your sin.
Water is a picture of the anointing. John 4:14 Water is also a picture of the Word of God, and how it sets us free from the dirt in our lives.
"that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word," - Ephesians 5:26
To water something means to nurture it and to give it life. If you are in ministry, then it means that you should be watering the seeds that have been planted in the hearts of God's people.
This is primarily a teaching function, just as Apollos functioned in.
"I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase." - 1 Corinthians 3:6
NEGATIVE
Water is a powerful force, known to shape rock. If you dream or see a vision of a force of water coming against you, it speaks of how you feel right now. You feel like you are being carried away by circumstances that are beyond your control.
Dirty Water: Water that is bitter or dirty speaks of a contamination, likely stemming from bitterness.
It speaks of those that really do have a ministry, but unfortunately are in deception. They have allowed some things in their life that are not of the Lord.
To dream of sitting in unclean water speaks of the things you are getting involved in.
Instead of walking in the spirit, by getting involved with these things or feeding on things that are not of God, you are contaminating your spirit.
It could also indicate that the ministry you have been receiving is not pure and directly from the Lord. Some of it is tainted with the flesh and man's ideas.
When I train God’s leaders I share how the Lord takes them through training to get rid of their own ideas.
The revelation and the anointing that God gives is pure when it comes from your spirit. However, if your mind is filled with things of the world or your own ideas, you end up tainting that word. Then what comes out is only a part Christ, and the rest is your own ideas!
Wedding
A covenant ritual whereby two become one.
Positive: To conform yourself to the purpose of God
Negative: To conform yourself to the purpose of man or the enemy
POSITIVE
The best illustration we have of this is the wedding of Christ to His bride. The wedding ceremony is in fact a covenant ritual act.
“When I passed by you again and looked upon you, indeed your time was the time of love; so I spread My wing over you and covered your nakedness. Yes, I swore an oath to you and entered into a covenant with you, and you became Mine,” says the Lord God" - Ezekiel 16:8
In the Old Testament when two people entered into a blood covenant, they would perform various acts.
Firstly they would cut their hands and join blood. Then they would rub ash into the wound so that it would leave a scar. They would also exchange their belts, representing their strengths.
The scar was a public sign of their covenant, much like the wedding ring is. The mixing of blood is symbolic of the sexual act of marriage.
The exchange of belts in marriage is the joining of two lives. Where your strengths become one.
When the blood covenant was over, the two of them had all things in common. Neither considered what they had as their own.
The Bridegroom: When you realize that this is also a picture of our relationship with Jesus it brings you to a new realization of who you are in Christ.
If you dream of being married, the Lord is reminding you that you are in blood covenant with Him!
All He has is yours and all you have is also His. He is asking you to give your life to Him completely and to also take hold of His completely.
Every physical, psychological and spiritual blessing that Jesus has, is available to you through this covenant.

Divorce: When you came to the Lord, you divorced your old life and married into His. If you dream that you are divorcing someone that represents the flesh in your life, this means that you are finally letting go of your old life to be joined to Christ.
Marrying someone you know: Consider the person you are marrying in your dream and determine what they mean to you. Whatever they represent to you is indicative of a covenant you are entering into right now.
If they represent a ministry or church that you feel positive about, then the Lord is giving you the go ahead to commit to that work.
NEGATIVE
What are you marrying in your dream and vision? Is the person in your dream someone you want to enter into a covenant with? If you dream of someone that represents your business, you need to determine if this is a good covenant or not!
Either way, you are conforming yourself to their desires and attributes. When two become one, you cannot tell whose traits are whose any longer! For the wedding to be negative, means that you are making traits your own that are imposed on you by man or the enemy.
To dream that you are getting divorced from someone that represents the Lord in your dreams means that you have separated yourself from the blessing of God.
Israel lost this blessing because they turned their backs on the Lord and followed idols.
Weeds
A work of the enemy to choke the goodness out of life.
Positive: To be a “contamination” in the field of the enemy
Negative: The undercover work of the enemy to steal
POSITIVE
Although we know how negative weeds are, the Lord gave me a different way of looking at them. He said how the enemy was always planting weeds in our lives, but that we needed to do him the same way!
He said that it was time that we as believers “contaminated” his work so that it would be laid waste! To be such an influence in this world that we change people’s thinking our way.
NEGATIVE
Weeds are mostly a negative picture because although they steal the life of other plants, they never give anything in return.
In the parable of the tares and the wheat we get a good example of how the enemy tries to steal the fruit of your labor. Matthew 13:25
He will do this by bringing people who come to take all you have, but give only bitterness in return. This is very true if you have ever been in ministry.
There was a time when the Lord said that He would be separating the tares from the wheat in our ministry. During that time, He exposed many who had come to take our time and all our resources, but to return the blessing with cursing and division.
The great thing about this though is that a weed is obvious! It does not bear fruit and although at the beginning it is not clear, it will be exposed soon enough.
If you see a vision of a weed or dream of weeds, the Lord is making you aware of something or someone in your life that is undercutting you and stealing the blessing and the fruit of your labor.
White
The universal color of peace and purity.
Positive:

CHARACTER SPECIFIC SYMBOL
Skin Color: When it comes to skin color, you need to determine how you feel about white people. This will change depending on the way you were brought up and the experiences you have had. When you think of white people in general, what is the first impression that comes to your mind?
Our dreams are strongly based on culture, so when interpreting dreams for someone of a different culture, you must take this into consideration.
White in most cultures also speaks of purity and innocence. To dream of something being made white indicates that something that was unpleasant in your life has now been removed.
UNIVERSAL SYMBOL
POSITIVE
The Bride of Christ is to be made without spot or wrinkle. Again and again the Word speaks of our sins being made white as snow. You cannot hide even a fleck of dirt on a white surface.
It reflects the very nature of Christ. The best part is, that we do not need to cleanse ourselves. The Lord is responsible for making us clean as snow.
In the book of revelation Jesus is seated on a white horse. There is no better way to depict Him. Full of pure love, authority and righteousness. It is because of Him that we can walk in this complete innocence.
There is no better scripture to explain the power of white than Isaiah 1:18 meaning that not a single trace of our sin is left when we are redeemed by His blood!
A white vehicle speaks of your ministry that is in right standing with God. You are fulfilling His purpose.
NEGATIVE
Not everything that is white depicts righteousness, in this case, it speaks of false humility and a religious spirit. The Pharisees obeyed the law and so boasted in their good works. They used religion as a source of personal power.
Although they performed the right acts, they were not in right standing with God.
“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead men's bones and all uncleanness" - Matthew 23:27
Spotted Garment: Anything white that is tainted speaks of not being in right standing with the Lord. Jesus is coming for a Bride without spot or wrinkle. A single spot on a white sheet denotes an attitude or sin that is hindering you right now.
Leprosy: White that is tarnished also speaks of sin and spiritual ill health. Gehazi sinned and ended up being infected with the leprosy Naaman had. When Miriam stood against Moses, she was struck with leprosy. Both of these pictures speak of being spiritually diseased because of personal sin.
To dream or have a vision of having a disease that leaves you white means that the flesh has infected your spirit! It has made you unclean. Just as Miriam repented and God healed her, so also will you break free of this blockage and the curses in your life!
"Therefore the leprosy of Naaman shall cling to you and your descendants forever.” And he went out from his presence leprous, as white as snow" - 2 Kings 5:27
Wind
A move taking place in the realm of the spirit either positive or negative.
Positive: The work of the Holy Spirit
Negative: Circumstances out of your control
POSITIVE
Standing in a cool wind speaks of a time of refreshing. It is also a sign of rain, which is a promise of blessing.
A whirlwind can be positive, speaking of the move of the Holy Spirit in your life.
The Lord is symbolized as both a mighty rushing wind and as a gentle breeze. Each is a description of His nature.
Hurricane/Mighty rushing wind: A hurricane or strong wind speaks of the might and power of the Lord. Not only does it represent the Lord overcoming the enemy on your behalf, but it is also a picture of revival and pouring His spirit out on His people.
"Behold, the whirlwind of the Lord goes forth with fury, a continuing whirlwind; it will fall violently on the head of the wicked." - Jeremiah 30:23
Gentle breeze of Jesus: Early in our ministry we started experiencing the anointing in an unusual way. Each time we ministered, and especially when we played music, people would begin to cry in the presence of the Lord.
This occurred even in a church where people spoke a foreign language and did not understand any of our English songs! The Lord confirmed that this was His gentle breeze.
We discovered that during these times the Lord Jesus would reveal Himself to people in the congregation and would also heal hurts from the past. In each case we would also see the Lord Jesus walking among the people.
We came to nickname this move of God, the gentle breeze of Jesus. This also brought love with it, and it united people and helped them experience the love of the Lord.
We sometimes also call it the love anointing. This is typified by a gentle breeze that brings life and peace everywhere it goes.
The Word says that God is the author of life. It is this breath, this gentle breeze, that brings life and healing to His people.
"Thus says the Lord God to these bones: Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live." - Ezekiel 37:5
NEGATIVE
Dreaming of a hurricane speaks of circumstances that are out of your control. The enemy is throwing everything he can at you from all directions. It is time to rise up and stand in your authority in Christ.
Tossed about: To be tossed around by the wind means that you do not have a firm conviction or a Word-based foundation of your life.
Violent wind: A wind that tears things apart and brings damage speaks of a spirit of destruction prevalent in your life.
Wine
The call to experience the joy and delight of the Lord

POSITIVE
To dream of being drunk but it is positive in a dream, then it speaks of letting go of your inhibitions and your cares.
When the anointing comes on a person, it brings joy and a feeling of euphoria. This is why wine is often depicted as the anointing in visions.
The joy of the Lord is our strength, which is why wine is a good picture of it.
"The king has brought me into his chambers. We will be glad and rejoice in you. We will remember your love more than wine. Rightly do they love you." - Song of Solomon 1:4
To see wine in the spirit speaks a lot more than just the anointing though. It speaks specifically of the nature of the anointing to make the heart glad. Wine speaks of the power of the anointing to change the way we feel.
Wine in scriptures is included with other foods that denote favor and luxury. This blessing that the Lord is pouring over you is not just because you need it, but because He simply wants to make you glad!
NEGATIVE
To dream of being drunk means that you have allowed the flesh to gain control of your life.
Watered down wine speaks of the anointing that has waned. It speaks of the works of man trying to create what only God can. You are trying to “stir up joy” using the spirit of the world instead of just letting the anointing do its work.
"Your silver has become dross, your wine mixed with water." - Isaiah 1:22
Wings
To be given a place of protection and escape from the situation you are in right now.
Positive: Escape from your circumstantial pressures
Negative: To run away from pressures you should be facing
POSITIVE
To see the wings of an eagle or to be covered with wings means that the Lord is telling you to run to Him for protection.
Just as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, so also does the Lord open His arms for you to hide and escape the pressures for a moment.
"How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! Therefore, the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Your wings." - Psalms 36:7
Your only escape from the pressures of the world is under the shadow of the Lord’s wings. It is always safe to run and hide there. No matter what you are facing, if you dream or have a vision of wings, the Lord is inviting you to take a break and to rest in His presence for a while.
If you see an angel in the spirit with wings, then you are seeing a worship angel as these are the only ones who have wings.
NEGATIVE
For something to “take wing” means for it to escape your grasp. This is a perfect illustration:
"Will you set your eyes on that which is not? For riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away like an eagle toward heaven." - Proverbs 23:5
For something such as your finances to grow wings speaks of losing the blessing that God has given to you. You need to look at where the enemy is attacking you.
For you to grow wings and take flight has the same meaning as Flying. It means that you are trying to escape your present situation.
Wolf
A devourer of what is good and beneficial. A picture of a spirit of theft.
Positive: To have the upper hand
Negative: Spirit of theft, meant to steal, kill and destroy
POSITIVE
The only time a wolf would be positive is if you have a personal attachment to it. The Lord said that Benjamin would be as a wolf and devour his prey.
This was positive because it meant that instead of being stolen from, he would fully overcome the thief and take the prey for himself! (Genesis 49:27)
If the wolf in your dream or vision is positive, then it means that instead of being stolen from, you will be the victor and will steal back from the thief!
NEGATIVE
For the most part though the wolf is a picture of a spirit of theft. So if you see one it means that the enemy intends to steal the good blessings of God from you. The wolf is also aggressive which shows that the means the enemy will use to steal from you will be aggressive.
If you have suddenly been experiencing loss and things being taken from you in reality, then the Lord is trying to show you what is going on. The enemy is stealing from you and you need to rise up in your authority to overcome.
False prophets are pictured as wolves in sheep’s clothing. They appear innocent; however, their intention is to steal the truth from you and to devour your blessings. Instead of giving to you, they intend to steal.
"Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves." - Matthew 7:15
Woman
Your more creative and prophetic side. Represents either your artistic nature or your prophetic call (if you should have one).
Positive:

To deliberately indulge in sin, knowing it is wrong
CHARACTER SPECIFIC SYMBOL
POSITIVE
You may at times dream of a woman that is familiar in your dreams, but in reality you do not know them.
As I teach in The Way of Dreams and Visions, a familiar feminine character in your dreams often represents your animas - your feminine side. This side is artistic, creative, prophetic and totally allegorical.
In a positive dream you might dream that you are embracing this lady. Some men who have shared such dreams with me felt guilty that they were embracing this woman in their dreams.
But the dream was actually positive, because it meant that the Lord was leading them into a more prophetic orientation or He was telling them that they need to tap into their creativity.
This also applies to women. As a woman you might dream that you are befriending this women character in your dream; perhaps even embracing her.
This DOES NOT mean that you have homosexual tendencies! It simply means that you are moving more towards a prophetic orientation.
NEGATIVE
Depending on how you respond to this feminine character in your dream it could mean different things.
If you are ignoring her, it could mean that you have been ignoring your prophetic side and the Lord wants you to get back to it.
Perhaps in your dream she is killed, which could mean that the Lord is bringing the prophetic in you to death, so that you can move on to the masculine, teaching orientation.
You must identify what you sensed in the dream and what witnesses in your spirit.
UNIVERSAL SYMBOL
POSITIVE
Depending on the context of your vision, seeing a woman will have a different meaning.
If it is a woman you know, then the vision relates to her. If it is a woman you do not know, then she could represent something.
A pregnant woman refers to something new that is about to be birthed. Depending on the direction of your prayer at the time, the birth could refer to the ministry, church or person you were praying for.
Of course seeing a bride speaks of the Bride of Christ. Depending on how you see her, will give you the full interpretation.
A bride standing in splendor would speak of the plan the Lord has for His church. A bride whose garments are tattered speaks of the church being in a state of disarray and needing mending.
NEGATIVE
A woman dressed in scarlet has a negative connotation according to this Scripture:
"The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet... 6 I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And when I saw her, I marveled with great amazement." - Revelation 17:4
This speaks of an adulteress and something that is seducing you to turn your back on the things of God. It means you are in adultery!
A woman that is a harlot or that you feel is very negative speaks of deliberately sinning and satisfying your flesh instead of walking in obedience.
"And there a woman met him, With the attire of a harlot, and a crafty heart." - Proverbs 7:10
Witch: If you see a woman that looks like a witch, it can have a variety of meanings. It can speak of witchcraft specifically, however in my experience, this is how I see the Jezebel spirit. It speaks of an aggressive nature that seeks to dominate and control through manipulation and guilt.
